Most orders are packed and handed off to the carrier within 1–2 business days of being placed. Orders placed after 12pm EST on Friday ship the following Monday. You'll receive a tracking number by email once your order ships.
Spawn, cultures, and substrate are living products. During summer months (June–August), we recommend selecting expedited shipping and including a cold pack in your order — these are available as add-ons at checkout. We cannot be responsible for products damaged by heat exposure during transit if standard shipping was selected during hot weather.
Because our products are perishable and biological, we cannot accept returns. However, if your product arrives damaged, contaminated at the point of delivery, or clearly not as described, we will replace it at no charge.
To request a replacement: email us at [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo of the issue. We'll get a replacement out to you with the next available shipping date.
If your tracking shows delivered but you haven't received your package, give it 24 hours (carrier scans can be early) and check with neighbors and building management. If still missing after 24 hours, contact us and we'll investigate with the carrier.
