Our story

About Us

We started growing mushrooms in a spare room and never stopped. Now we ship spawn, kits, and cultures to growers across the country.

This started the way most good things do โ€” with curiosity and a bag of grain. We inoculated our first batch of grain spawn in a spare bedroom, watched the mycelium colonize, and were completely hooked.

What we kept running into was a supply problem. Getting quality cultures, consistent substrates, and actually useful information in one place was harder than it should be. So we decided to fix that.

We test every culture and every batch of spawn before it ships. We write guides based on what actually works in our grows. And we pick up the phone when customers have questions โ€” because we've had the same questions.

What drives us

๐Ÿ”ฌ
Lab-first quality
Every culture is verified clean and true-to-strain before it leaves our facility. No shortcuts on quality because the contamination risk falls on you, not us.
๐ŸŒฟ
Organic inputs
Our spawn and substrates use certified organic grain and hardwood. We don't use pesticides or synthetic growth promoters โ€” mushrooms don't need them.
๐Ÿ“š
Real education
We write our guides to actually teach you how to grow, not just sell you more products. A confident grower is a repeat customer โ€” but that's a side effect, not the goal.
๐Ÿค
Grower community
Mushroom cultivation has an unusually generous community. We try to contribute to that โ€” answering questions, sharing what we learn, and helping new growers get started right.
